Vrindavan, 2014.08.30 (VT): The devotees of ISKCON Vrindavan will be presenting the 5th annual Radhashtami Vandanam, Concert of Bhakti, on Radhashtami evening.
For the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada, Srimati Radharani and all their followers, many devotees will be making various devotional offerings on the Krishna Hall stage in the form of dance, singing and drama on Tuesday evening, September 2nd, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
Deena Bandhu Das, known as Iskcon Vrindavan’s “cowherd boy” and tirth guru will be the master of ceremonies who will take everyone on a Parikrama of Barsana, describing the pastimes that take place there in such spots as Sankari Khor, Vilas Ghar, Krishna Kund, Mor Kutir, Man Ghar, and Dan Ghar.
Dance performers will include Shatakshi Goyal Devi, Avatari Devi, and Vrindavan’s own Vrindarani Devi and bhajans will be done by temple president Pancha Gauda Das and the Vrajavadhus, who will fill the Krishna Hall with the sublime names of Krishna while devotees sing, sway, pray, play and dance together.
Program organizer Mahadevi Dasi said that the invitation to attend was open to everyone. “Feel free to invite all your family members, friends, teachers, neighbors, shop wallas and all the Brijbasi families we know so that we can fill the hall with rivers of bhakti flowing on the stage and all through the audience. We want to hear and chant tumultuous sacred sounds of Radha’s name and the Hare Krsna Maha Mantra as well as marvel at the devotional artistry of our devotees,” she said.
